Alumni Day starts at 12.00, when registration opens in the Grace Howard Room, where Downing College Alumni Association merchandise will be on sale and the winning entries from the Association Photographic Competition will be displayed.

A pay-as-you-go cafeteria lunch is available in the Hall from 12:30 to 13:30; please note that Downing College has now gone cashless, so you will need to use a credit or debit card to pay for your lunch (you may also use Apple or Google Pay).

Several archive exhibitions are on show in the Maitland Robinson Library between 13:30 and 15:30: displays may change, but currently feature items from the Sir Lionel Whitby collection: War hero, medical pioneer and Master; ‘Downing’s early ‘Black Cantabs’’; ‘Downing 100 years ago’ (through the letters and photographs of Frank Furniss (1917)); and items from the bequest of the late Ray Sutcliffe (1959).

Evensong will be celebrated in the Chapel at 15:00 and complimentary afternoon tea will be available in the Grace Howard Room between 15:00 and 16:00.

A display of College silver by Dr David Pratt, featuring highlights of the collection and gathering together all items of silver relating to the Boat Club, will be in the Grace Howard Room during tea.
