Reunion Lunch for 1961-1965 cohorts

Following an initiative by Neville Tait (1962) in consultation with the respective Year Reps, the College would like to invite you to a special alumni lunchtime reunion which will take place this summer, on Saturday 18 July 2026.
All those who came up to Downing in 1961, 1962, 1963, 1964 and 1965 and their guests are invited. Widows of former members and their guests are very welcome. Drinks will be served from 12pm, followed by a four-course lunch in the Hall at 12.30pm. We anticipate the event will finish around 2.30pm, and you are welcome to stay and enjoy the College grounds after lunch.
Tickets for drinks and lunch will cost £67.50 for alumni and guests. If you would like to purchase an alcohol-free ticket, these will be priced at £57.50. Dress code: Smart/casual Bed and breakfast accommodation in College will be offered for the nights of Friday 17 and Saturday 18 July.
The prices, per room, per night, are £108 for a single; £117 for a double room on a single occupancy basis and £146 for a double room. Alumni are welcome to park in College for this event, space permitting.
Please note that spaces cannot be reserved, unless they are pre-booked disabled parking spaces, and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Please record this on your booking form when prompted.
Booking will close, at the latest, on Friday 3 July at 1pm. If you need to cancel a booking before this date, a refund will be issued. If you have any questions, please contact the Alumni and Development Office.
