Varsity Matches 2023

The 2023 Varsity Matches will take place on Saturday 25 March at Twickenham.
In conjunction with Downing College's new alumni arm of DCRUFC, The Long Club, we invite you to purchase your tickets for this event. Tickets cost just £40 per adult (£20 per child) for a premium match ticket with access to the Varsity Gathering and you are welcome to book for guests.
This package allows alumni to enjoy the best views of the Women’s and Men’s Varsity Matches from top-class seats in the West Stand (on the halfway line, in blocks L6/L7) in the company of other Downing alumni, as well as access to the Varsity Gathering in the Rose Suite in the South Stand. Please note that only drinks will be on sale in the Rose Suite, but food concessions are located just a short distance away.
Timetable for the day
- 11am- Stadium opens for hospitality, including the Varsity gathering
- 11.30am- General public opening and bars open
- 12pm- Women's Varsity match kicks off
- 3pm- Men's Varsity Match kicks off
- 6.30pm- Varsity gathering closes
We are not able to offer refunds after the closing deadline for this event, 1pm Friday 24 February 2023, unless the event is cancelled by the organisers. Do contact us at the earliest opportunity, if you need to cancel your booking.
Please note: we will share the names and addresses of those who book with The Varsity Matches so they can post out your paper tickets and wristbands for the Varsity Gathering. All data will be held securely throughout.
The Varsity Matches are taking place on the same weekend as the boat race, making for a great sporting weekend. Come and support the Light Blues!
