Downing Fellow discusses biodiversity project in interview
Dr Sarah Kennedy, Downing Fellow in English, was interviewed during the summer about a biodiversity project she is running experimenting with rewilding processes for endangered chalk wildflower meadows on the North Downs in Kent. Sarah discussed her collaboration with Chelsea-medal-winning Kent Wildflower Seeds in an interview with the journalist and writer Alexandra Campbell of the Garden Media Guild, for her YouTube channel ‘The Middle-Sized Garden’.
Dr Kennedy said: "Green spaces—from wildflower meadows to woodlands—are the lungs of our planet and a balm for the soul. Protecting and enriching them isn’t just vital; it’s our legacy for future generations."
