Commemoration of Benefactors message

Today the Downing Community celebrates its Commemoration of Benefactors on the anniversary of the laying of the foundation stone in 1807.

We remember the generous donors who over many generations have helped to make Downing the dynamic, successful and beautiful place it is.

“On this special day my thanks go to all of you who’ve given us not only money, but time, advice and practical assistance… Thank you.”
