Death of Emeritus Fellow
Downing is saddened to share the news that Emeritus Fellow and former Vice-Master Dr Martin Mays died on Sunday.
Dr Mays first came to Downing as a Natural Sciences student, matriculating in 1957. He was a Fellow from 1965 to 2004 and held the roles of Admissions Tutor, Senior Tutor, and Director of Studies in Chemistry during his time at the College.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends.
