Downing Fellow named 2018 GG2 Young Achiever
Congratulations to Downing Research Fellow Dr Priyanka Joshi on being named the GG2 Young Achiever at the recent GG2 Leadership Awards, held on 24 October at a ceremony in London. Dr Joshi's pioneering research provides promising new ways to understand Alzheimer's and Parkinson's, looking at novel tools to aid its treatment.
The GG2 Leadership Awards, which celebrate their 20th anniversary in 2018 and are sponsored by the Royal Air Force, recognise Britain’s most enterprising and talented black, Asian and minority ethnic high achievers.
The GG2 Young Achiever Award is presented to a young person aged 35 or under who has demonstrated outstanding leadership, brings about change and who is an inspiration to communities.
