The John Hopkins Fund

John Hopkins was a teacher, mentor and friend for 43 years to generations of students at Downing College. His loss has been felt by Downing alumni around the world.

Our ambition is to raise significant philanthropic support to establish an endowed fund in John’s memory, to secure and enhance the Supervision and Tutorial systems for all students at Downing. The Fund will support College Tutors and allow the Senior Tutor and his team to respond to our changing needs in teaching in all subjects.

Please consider making a gift to the Fund. Your support will make an immediate and lasting impact on students in College. With your permission, you will be recognised in the John Hopkins Fund Donor List.
