The Maitland Robinson Library

In keeping with Downing’s central mission—the pursuit of academic excellence—the College Library is open to all members of the College at all times: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

The Library collection is curated to offer the greatest help to Downing students, so a complete collection of the required textbooks for all courses in all disciplines is held in stock and updated throughout the year. The Library also makes every effort to acquire copies of the recommended texts for most courses, and the College librarians are on hand to help Downing students find the materials they need for their studies.

The Library also hosts series of exhibitions showing items from the College archives.
