Accommodation
Accommodation at Downing
Downing College provides just under 400 rooms for undergraduates and accommodation for over 150 postgraduates, including rooms and some flats.
We have seven rooms which have been adapted for students with disabilities; five rooms are suitable for wheelchair users, and two rooms have facilities for students with hearing impairments.
Each of our student rooms are banded accordingly to reflect their size, features and facilities. A full breakdown of these factors can be found in the Accommodation Handbook. Our current Rent Charges can be found on the fees and charges page.
No hidden extras
We charge a fixed, all-inclusive Rent Charge with 'no hidden extras'. We do not charge a termly catering facilities charge. Typically, undergraduate students need only budget for term-time accommodation.
